World’s First Climate Controlled Beach

“Ouch! Ouch! Ahhh… Ouch!” If your childhood memories of the beach are anything like mine, you remember tip-toeing through blazing hot sand just to get a little salt-water relief.

Pleasant? Definitely not.

But it was the price you paid for some fun in the sun — and you were happy to pay it. Well, in case you didn’t know… we’re on the verge of a new generation that may never need to say “ouch.”

Introducing… the world’s first climate controlled beach, courtesy of the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai. Still in development, it’s rumored that this $532 million hotel will use ginormous wind blowers to help keep tourists — and their little feetsies — cool. While it’s not certain where or how the wind blowers will work exactly, one thing is certain: true luxury is only limited by your imagination.

Madonna’s $6.45 Million Florida Rental

What’s Madonna up to when she’s not rescuing little African babies from a pitiful life of poverty? Apparently, she’s resting her pretty little head in one of Palm Beach, Florida’s most posh luxury homes. That is, after a hard day of horseback riding.

Ahhh…the life of a pop star.

According to well-placed sources in the ultra-wealthy suburb of Wellington, this stunning piece of property was being leased to the former queen of controversy for a month — to the tune of $6.45 million. Reportedly, the deal was only supposed to last until March 31. So if you’re in the market for a celeb’s former playhouse, do give the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club a call. And if the idea of Madonna staying here gets you excited, what does Prince Charles do for you?
